Welcome to your weekly Tarot forecast! This is the Gilded Tarot Royale deck from Ciro Marchetti.
Let’s do a chronological look first, and then we’ll use some mirror pairs to round out the message.
The Timeline View
Starting the week with a bit of a mystery, but something we’ve got to decide about by the end of the week. The two of swords traditionally shows a woman holding two swords in a V across her chest, under moonlight (can’t see very well) with a blindfold on. OK, let’s assume that we have something to defend and don’t have all the information yet. You’ll need to enlist the insight and use the tools of the Magician to deal with this challenge and see what needs to be done.
And you have those tools, although you may need to take your blindfold off and light a torch to see them. The power is there to manifest a solution.
By midweek, assuming you’ve gathered the tools necessary to resolve things, you’ll get a second chance to work the problem, a second chance to walk through your fears knowing that things will be better on the other side (Judgement). Heed the call to change something about yourself at this point, though, to make sure you get through to a solution. Not all who are called will respond.
If you gather your tools and take the opportunity to change yourself or your perspective about the problem, you’ll see a solution that works for everyone involved (The World—win-win!). Time to do your happy dance come Thursday or Friday. Then you’ll need to access all you’ve learned this week about yourself to close the deal with the laser mind focus of the King of Swords or join with someone who is very much like him.
The Mirrored Tarot Pairs
Now let’s pair the outer cards up to see how they might inform your situation. In this interpretation, the Judgement card is the center of the issue, so it’s all about being reborn into a new you or a new environment for you.
First pair includes the two swords cards (Two of Swords and King of Swords). I see this pair as using the power of mental focus (which this King has lots of) to cut through the shadows cast by the Moon in the Two of Swords so you can see your way to making an important change (Judgement). The King could be you thinking carefully, clearly, and masterfully, and communicating your solution to a difficult dilemma, or it could be you relying on someone who can bring those mental skills to bear.
The second pair, the Magician and the World, is very powerful indeed. Knowing and centering within yourself to find well-being and acknowledging your influential power will create the change you seek (Judgement). Also, taking the trio of Magician, Judgement, and World, you have a powerful combination using the Major Arcana to create an important change that will solve a problem.
All the power you need going into the week before Christmas. To a successful holiday!
