This is one of my biggest challenges in Tarot, the question. I tend to be too vague, usually, for myself, anyway. I’m often probably too positive, and I do believe in focusing on my own response rather than other people’s reactions (believe in that create-your-own-reality stuff). But it was very good to go through the lesson in my Tarot course on how to focus and balance the question part. I will need this for doing readings for others. Here are my sample questions for this lesson:
What are my best first steps to find an audience for my Tarot deck idea?
What should I focus on in my work today?
How should I approach the project of eliminating financial debt?
How can I best support husband in his jewelry craft in this beginning phase?
What should I be aware of as I go to my doctor’s appointment to get the most accurate result?
How can I create time for contemplation and connection to Spirit?
Would love to hear from you all on how well I composed these and if there might be more balanced, more focused, more neutral ways of asking the same things, and what your favorite phrasing is for a daily draw question, if you have one.
Those look like pretty good questions to me, Joanne 🙂 Next step – what spread to use for each of them!
Ah, yes, the appropriate spread does complement the question and give each card a role. I like making up spreads and using really cool ones from other folks. Just so busy now with the basics of Tarot and Lenormand that I haven’t had a chance to explore spreads enough.
